Learn How to Advocate for Yourself

Have you ever been confronted with antisemitic/anti-Israel remarks in social, work, or academic situations but felt unprepared to respond in the moment?  

This interactive workshop was created to give you practical skills to use in those challenging encounters. With these techniques, you will not feel pressured to recall information about Judaism, Israel, Zionism, or any other topic. 

• No cost to attend. 
• Customized to your setting & schedule; held remotely, or in-person in the Center City/University City neighborhoods of Philadelphia.
• Each participant will have the opportunity to practice these self-advocacy skills through roleplay.
• To maintain confidentiality, the workshops will not be recorded. 

This training is offered by Dr. Julia Weinberg, a clinical and forensic psychologist who practiced law before becoming a psychologist. Based on her extensive experience in helping individuals learn how to self-advocate in difficult situations, she has adapted these techniques to help members of our Jewish community who are faced with antisemitic rhetoric.
